- What are your academic and career goals?
- How do you feel about writing? What are your strengths and weaknesses? What do you hope to learn in this class?
- Describe a writing assignment that you either enjoyed or received a good grade on in school. Why do you think you enjoyed the assignment and earned a good grade on it?
- What writing activities do you enjoy or engage in outside of school (texting, blogging, tweeting, journaling, etc.)? What do you write about and how often do you do it?
- What do you like to read for pleasure? If you don’t like to read, why do you believe this is so?
- What would you like me (the instructor) to know about you? Is there anything I should know about you that would impact your performance in class?
